Sixteen years ago I had my son's first deer hide tanned hair on. Three years ago we both shot nice bucks ten minutes apart and I had those hides tanned hair on. Last spring the hair started falling out like crazy, so badly that I had to throw them out, then this past fall the hair on the first hide did the same thing. Is or was there something I should have done to the hides to keep this from happening? It might sound stupid, but those hides meant a lot to both of us.
