Mathews, Bowtech, Hoyt, Pse. I;ve owned bear, martin and now have become a mathews believer. my last three bows have been Mathews and all have shot much quieter than my other bows. My son recently bought the Bowtech General and it shoots fast and accurate but he says it dosent compare to the lightness and preformance of my Mathews and wished he'd followed my advise (which he never does, then wished he did. lol).

You will get many answers. I have shot Hoyt & Ross (now Bowtech). All main brand names are "good". Some are light, some have more speed, some are lighter, some are a little more accurate. IMO--Hoyt is the best. They have split limbs that can withstand 1000% more dry fires than say a Matthews and they just don't make a bad bow. Almost ALL competition champions shoot Hoyt so that should tell you something. Brace height will determine how forgiving a bow is with accuracy...kinda like the difference between a pistol vs. a rifle.
