The other day I had 2 fawns calling to their Mother at dusk. The Doe would respond with a "Murp" sound. My question is: If I was to make the same call/sounds as the fawns would the doe be alarmed knowing she has only 2 fawns with her and there's another third fawn (me) in the woods?

does usually respond to a fawn call either out of curiosity or maturnal instinct so she may come looking. not a good idea to shoot though. be careful whet else you might call in, though.predators key on those sounds.

I would stay quiet and let her scent and presence attract any nearby bucks.
