Here's my December 26th doe - not as large as the one you got. Heart shot at 30 yards with the Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor with factory 143gr Eld-X

No. I'm long done with the CVA pistol. Someone offers me $200 and it's all theirs. Muzzleloader (CVA). Shot thru the liver

Thanks, I needed the meat and it's the first one for me off that lease. Didn't use the suppressor, mainly because it adds 8 inches to the length and throws off the balance. I keep the suppressor on the 300 Blackout and it's a great choice there mainly because of the subsonic ammo.

What load are you running?

I didn’t mess with my new CVA Optima much, sighted in with 80gr by volume of Blackhorn 209 pushing a 240gr XTP. Couple shots went around 2” @ 100 yards but no opportunity to use it on a deer.

I’m sure it can do better and I also have some 240gr Hornady Copper monos I’d like to try out. I’m thinking about doing the conversions and using weighed charges as well.
