[QUOTE=fitch270;n68087]That’ll work. Looks fairly thick in back, what are you looking over in front?
This is a very narrow finger ridge with deep narrow valleys both sides with trickle creeks running their bottoms. 50yds+- further up the ridge a briar choked fence runs perpendicular across all the ridges. Deer literally come from every direction all day long. Didn't hunt this spot in the past because from the ground you can only watch one side and sure as shooting deer would come up behind you and bust you before you would see them. Also deer traveling the fence would have a wall of briars that was almost impossible to get a good shot through. In addition we can come the opposite ridge tops and near sides. Chopped some shooting lanes along the fence as well. Fingers crossed but we have our traditional spot to fall back on. We each bought additional doe tags just for this spot as it sits in the bottom corner of a bonus deer county. (Doe only on a $7 bonus deer tag)

That looks very sturdy and should be a producing stand. On the lease we have several wooden platforms just a couple feet off the ground for pop-up blinds.
Here's a couple of examples of the wooden and one metal platform.

Better stock up on tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms.

Pics are my atv with camo net - shot a lot of deer from this stand overlooking a pond. . platform.. hunting from my chair blind. chair blind - i like it because it is easily moved if necessary. they also make a double chair. . blind pulls up and over and down the front of the chair. hunt2006 012.jpg IMG_1775.jpg hunting 2014 005.jpg IMG_1797.jpgLast edited by jhjimbo; 11-11-2021, 08:38 PM.
