Is there any information about the amount of lead dust in bird meat that is a result of upland birds being shot with lead shot?

I don't know much about lead dust. Pellets I try to avoid. You have to eat alot of lead to get sick and that's over a period of time.

The best thing to do to reduce risks is to try to get the pellets out of the bird.
When I squirrel hunt I use lead When I deer hunt I use lead. I use copper plated buck shot or lead slugs.

Copper is there to minimize deformities in the lead shot as it moves out of the barrel. It does help hold its form upon impact and increases the weight of the lead shot.
As far as advantge to protect from leadAs soon as the copper impacts something hard and deforms it exposes the lead.
