    Sorry Yoda, you cannot successfully 'paint' polyethylene. You can paint it but the problem is you can not get a bond.
    If you are trying to camo it - I use a netting on dark green polyethlene canoe. Also tried various types of camo decals they stuck for awhile...

      To charlie elk: Can you "rough" it up with sand-paper to get a "bond"?

        Experimented with that on a scrap piece, still did not bond and looked like heck.
