    Don't ever gobble unless you know you are the only hunter in the area, that rules out most of the places I hunt, which is why I never do it. I really don't think it's necessary even in places where it would be safe though.

    If you mean a gobbler tube to imitate gobbling- ok if you want, some hunters use gobbling to locate toms however, you may also call in some other hunters. Even on private property.
    You can make gobbler calls such as clucks and yelps using most standard turkey calls like pot and peg or box calls. Their yelps are a bit slower, raspier and fewer in sequence 2-3 than hens 3-6. Gobbler clucks are louder more demanding with more base sound.

    it wouldnt hurt. a gobbler is going to come to the hen call but having a gobble call works great for locating!
