My uncle, my brothter and myself recently built a turkey blind. The blind was made with tree limbs. The blind looks like it would be good cover. The only thing I'm worried about is something my friend told me, the blind would scare the turkey. Are turkey really scare of blinds made from brush?

Turkeys are not effected by blinds. You could setup a blind minutes before they enter a field if needed. I however do not use them, as I prefer to stay mobile.

Turkeys are blind tolerant due to having 2 dimensional eye sight. Unless you move without the blind blocking your movement they should not see you.

As long as you make sure the blind covers any of your movement, you will be fine. For all they know, it is just a big pile of brush that they walk by everyday. Goodluck!
