    how about you check when the season opens and closes in MN. that will give you a good idea. also, call a Fish and game office and ask to talk to a biologist.

        Is this your first season there or what? You can't know the game without getting out there. I'm sure MN times it like every other state to coincide with mating season.

          I read one of Ned Smiths books and he gave the analogy that they are most likely to come to a call during the time that the Dogwoods are in full bloom. Cant say i disagree with him.

            the turkey rut is rather complicated. I typically look for rubs and scraps in the later part of february. I follow the moon phases and this year the chase phase is April 5-11th, which is my favorite time to run and gun. The following 10 days are the peak rut. I'd be in a tree on the 18th, it looks promising. Good luck getting that Tom
