When do turkys gobble? when ( moth/time of day)should i use a gobble call. this is for a eastern turkey. i have heard people say its not around mid april but i have kn a guy has used that call on the 13th of april and got them to gobble back at the least.

Gobblers will gobble anytime of year actually. I have heard them gobble in the fall while archery hunting. However, they will be most responsive from the beggining of the spring season to the end of it. Most of the time, it depends if they are with their harem of hens. This will quickly shut up even the most vocal and pumped up gobbler. Good Luck in the turkey woods!
