We are so vulnerable between seasons with nothing to do but obsess over the coming season and buy stuff. Man is this a great country or what? So much stuff so little time.
Gobbler call can be a good locator. On a couple of occasions I have used a bit of gobbling along with yelps to make a hung bird think another Tom just moved in on the girl he was talking to.

Forgot to mention that I'm on private land that is surrounded by more private land, so other hunters aren't a factor.

use them to interigate a gobbler on the way to set up and use a hen call to sound like a jake and a hen in a breading flock
