    hi i got an english springer ....iv been training him to hunt pheasant...i understand that hes a flusher not a pointer. so i have been putting the scent you get in bottle an putting it on dummies and letting him find it in fields...hes use to gun shots and all that...but hasnt been introduced to birds...so i was wondering if piegions would work or is there somthing else i can do...because in eastern washington u cant use pheasant ,quail ect... with out a permit so if youy guys could help me i would really appriecated it thanks!

    I have a duck tolling retriever which flushes. At the place where we trained her to hunt pheasant, they introduced her to birds by tying a pigeons wings and letting her chase it. It seemed to work well.
