I'm thinking on going turkey hunting in the fall for easterns. Will they come to a call and if so what one?

I, too, emphasize the part about scattering the flock well. There's no such thing as overscattering them; if they all just fly off in the same general direction, they will quickly get back together and won't come to your calls, even though they will answer in an attempt to get you to come to them. It can be frustrating, just like any kind of turkey hunting, but it's fun.
They will also come to a plain yelp if you haven't learned to kee-kee yet.

Fall PA turkeys is what i was raised and taught on. most importantly, scatter the flock. you want them all going different directions so i like sneaking around the edge of a field and when they get close run out and yell and scream and try to catch one. then just sit down where you scattered them and sound as much like the boss hen as possible. i like yelps and clucks and the kee kee run works well to.
