    I prefer box calls. They are loud which makes them great locator calls and they can yelp, cluck, purr and gobble if need be.

    The basic cluck and/or yelp is hard to go wrong with. It's usually best not to call too much, but you have to go with the situation.

    All calls work it depends what the turkey likes and wants to come to. I use all calls but when a turkey is close I prefer mouth calls but when a turkey is far away friction calls reach further.
