Diffidently so! You must experiment with different size chokes to get the beast desired pattern. Take my Model 11-87™ Sportsman® Super Mag Shurshot™ Turkey (mouth full) for example. With "Extra Full" choke with #6's, a nat doesn't have a chance! But take 2,3 &4's Improved Modified works best. So you have to try different loads and chokes. As for shooting Federal 1oz slugs with a Improved Modified choke, it's a tack driver at 50 yards!
