    Sorry can't hunt turkey like you do a goose there goose. Set up on the edge and still place plenty of cover in front of your blind and watch those dark holes/windows, they will spook a gobbler as well. Happened to me last year..lol

    It's a 50-50 chance, you just have to try and see how edumacated they are

    I think you'll have beter luck seating up on the feilds edges, the blind will blind in better.

    Setting up in the middle of the field on a well defined travel route might prove suspect--especially if a bird was through Tuesday and You are there Thursday morning.I have seen hunters use round bales of hay as blinds--pretty common in most agricultural areas-birds have seen them time and again.I am not saying your set-up will not work but I always give some consideration to blending in with whatever situation/landscape that is predominant.

    I just bought a ground blind a year ago and I was wondering if I could just set it up in the middle of the field where the turkeys travel? Or would they be scared of it and avoid it? Thanks
