I just bought a ground blind a year ago and I was wondering if I could just set it up in the middle of the field where the turkeys travel? Or would they be scared of it and avoid it? Thanks

Setting up in the middle of the field on a well defined travel route might prove suspect--especially if a bird was through Tuesday and You are there Thursday morning.I have seen hunters use round bales of hay as blinds--pretty common in most agricultural areas-birds have seen them time and again.I am not saying your set-up will not work but I always give some consideration to blending in with whatever situation/landscape that is predominant.
