I've been hunting turkeys for a number of years now and there's one thing I still don't understand. When hens start going off to lay their eggs, do they lay them one at a time, breed again, lay another, etc., or lay them all at one time and then stay with those eggs? Once they lay their eggs, do they stay with those eggs overnight or return to roost with a group of turkeys? Just trying to understand Spring turkey patterns at little better!
