While wearing a blue shirt or blue windbreaker I have had wild Turkey walk right up to me several times. It seems that Turkey are attracted to BLUE. If this is the case would blue camo be more effective and safer ? Harold Borland 22764 River View Drive Cottonwood, CA

Turkey have some of the best eyes in the woods. If they are drawn to blue they haven't been hunted a pressured bird see's something out of the norm and it's gone.and believe me they can see you blink your eye at 100 yards.

A wild turkey's eyesight capacity is 9 X greater than the human eye-it may have been more a function of you being motionless while the turkey approached.

That is a bad idea. Have you ever seen a gobblers head. If you wear blue or red in the woods during turkey season you are asking for some idiot to shoot you. I know we should wait until we are 100% sure of what we are shooting at, but unfortunately not everyone follows this rule.
