how important is it for your gun to be camouflaged

Not at all. I like wood stocked guns way more than synthetic ones. I have no prior experience turkey hunting but for big game, it really doesn't matter. You won't spook game with a gun with a wood stock or a gun with a black synthetic one. But, camo guns are cool!

As long as it is not bright stainless you will be all right.Don't make any fast or jerking movements keep everything slow and move when birds are behind trees or looking at something else.
      Good Luck

I have both old school wood stocks and camo ones and I like them both but it isn't very important if they are I like them either way and have had success with either one what matters to me is the gun under that camo

not really but when the sun hits the finish on the wooden stock at certain angles its has a mirror shine effect you can see the shine very easy. I imagine the deer see this also.......

It's helpful but way overrated. My turkey gun is camo, but most of my others are not.

I don't use camo guns. I guess if your in full camo its only practicl for you to use a camo gun. I wear camo bow hunting and have a cam bow, but it dosen't matter to me
