What would you do if a mountain lion moved in under your house? Apparently this is not an abstract question according to the LA Times -Famed P-22 Mountain Lion Stuck Under House and won't come out. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-famed-p

I feel sorry for this old boy. Time has passed him by. He lives on the mountain in Griffith Park, surrounded by Los Angeles on all sides and barricaded by freeways. He has been poisoned, hit by a car, chased by TV camera crews, tranquilized, and collared. In photos he looks haunted and very much alone, and has been this way for years. An old hunter, kind of reminds me of , well me..

Are you kidding me...the lion has been pelted with bean bags, tennis balls, etc...??
Was this an effort to get the lion to move out...or just to torment it (and you know what some of those TV people can be like)...!!

A tranquilizer dart might be one 'logical' answer...but then it comes to removing the lion...and in a timely manner, too...!!
