I have never trapped one myself but from what I have read is that most weasel trappers set a small trap inside of an enclosed wooden box with a hole in the side of it and bait behind the trap. You can order the boxes from trapping supply catalogs if you don't want to build your own, Minnesota Trapping Supply is one that I am familiar with. Good Luck.

Think of a bird house when making it. Get a wooden box(I would say 1.5-2feet long and 6 inches tall 6 inches wide) and drill an entrance hole. Take the top of the box off and hing one side so it can be opened(make sure you make a locking mechanism. On the inside put a leg trap and bait it with fresh meat.
