    I can't see why anything bigger than a .22 is needed...I've gotten LOTS of them with one.

    My second favorite 'chuck rifle is the .30 cal M1 carbine...good to 300 yards...!!

    I like the 22-250, better then the .222, but the ammo costs more.

    I am tied between a .222 and a .22-250. I shoot Remington Core-Lokt ammo. I also take the deer rifle and the bear gun out for some off season practice and to check if the gun is still on.

    Do any of you guys ground hog hunt? If so what is the choice in rifle and bullet, mine is a 22-250 with a Nikkon 6-18 shooting 55gr Nosler ballistic tips.
