A couple days ago supposedly someone caught a black bear on a game camera, near Iron Creek Lake, which is outside of Spearfish,SD. Not long ago a moose was saw frequently around Pactola Lake. It was poached. so not only are mountain lions moving in but so are animals that Usually live in bigger mountains

People are laying claims to have trail cam pics of mountain lion here in the mountains of SW PA but I have yet to see any. But I'm not saying they are not around.

Cougars are being seen more here in Iowa too. DNR says we will end up with a population of them. Most of the ones documented here have been young males pushed out of other cats' territories when they are weaned.

I'm thinking that predators in general are on the increase. I have seen more coyotes and fox lately then I have ever seen in my life!

I agree.Florida Panthers aren't very commen here in North Florida. Last year one of our deer dogs jumped a "large bobcat with a long tail" Bobcats don't have tails.

Hmmmm...ok I've saw two mountain lions in 2 consecutive days..They're different cats too. My parents and uncle have'nt ever even saw one. So obviously the population is increasing quite considerably. Comments are welcome.
