I've seen lots of different animals hunting, but I've never seen a bob cat in the wild yet I KNOW they exist. So what's these black cats described as about 18 inches height 3 foot length people are reporting in the southeast?

I saw cougars in Oklahoma before the wildlife dep. would admit they were here. So many have been photographed on trail cams that they have finally had to admit that they are in Oklahoma. So it could be a dark or black cougar. My best guess is that most of the sightings are black house cats that seem to be bigger then what they are.

house cats can get pretty big in the wild if they survive. i've seen one bobcat while hunting. would love to see a wolverine just once, but not holding my breath.
