i've bow hunted wabbits with beagles., although shots aren't aways possible a running wabbit can sometimes be stopped with a shrill whistle.

check your local regulations on bait and if it is legal a pile of fresh apple slices can not be beat. if there are hungry rabbits in the area they will come.

Aim for the head unless you want to chase the rabbit down to get your arrow back.

Try scattering a little ryegrass and fertilizer on any bare ground near cover and they should come out to feed on it in the early evening after it sprouts.

I'm pulling 38lbs on my bow, and i plan on using the practice tips, the ones without blades.

Bow hunting rabbits is a very lofty skill bigbassboy. Now I see why you asked about baiting. I can't help you with bait but I do know rabbits come out at dusk and feed near their cover.
What is your bow weight and what head to you plan on using for rabbit?

I also have a brush pile in my backyard, but when i went to burn it i found out that the critters had a litter baby bunnys. Ok when season opens ill kick it but do they run out and stop or just run, because i use a bow to hunt them.

I know rabbits enjoy the safety of a nice big brush pile. I have a number of them set up on my property and a couple good kicks usually gets a rabbit or two to come out.
