I want to get one of Smith and Wessons M&P; 15 .22's and i have heard lots of good things and some bad things like jamming. I was wondering if anybody out there has one and if they could tell me some pro's and con's about it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My brother-in-law brought one over the other day. He had never shot it, brand new. I had some old ammo mixed together, different brands, Remington, Winchester, CCI, and Federal that needed to be shot. The gun performed flawlessly. It never jammed, even shooting the cheap old stuff. Groupings were very good as well. I have heard of them being prone to jamming, but that was not my experience. Hope this helps.

Hi, could I suggest a Bushmaster? I mean they don't come in .22 LR but do have .223 caliber, which isn't far off from .22 LR. Oh, wait, for Varmint rifles they have, .204 Ruger as well. Ya I would go with a Bushmaster, haven't heard many bad things about S&W M&P's but go with a company solely focused on weapons such as these not one that puts there money and research into other firearms as well...
