Old American Schrade fixed blade knife. Christmas present from my father. Dressed a lot of deer and a few African animals too. I have better, longer lasting knives, but I find myself wearing this one when I hunt.You do not have permission to view this gallery.

My daughter took this last summer when she had the knotheads out for a hike. Two days later the older one on the right seized up so bad we ended up taking what we thought was going to be her last ride to the vet. Doc gave her a pain shot and a script plus Lyme meds even though she tested negative. Took a couple weeks but she bounced back. She’s 14, deaf and can’t really feel her back feet but would try going after birds in a heartbeat if I’d let her. The younger one will be 9 in a few months, acts like she’s 2.Comment

Another favorite thing: this shiny spot that I wore onto my Beretta 390. Took 27 years and probably a million stomping steps through the brome grass and tumbleweeds, but its my favorite part of the old girl.You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Last year’s success. I didn’t see him go down but it looked like he face planted mid stride. He hit the ground at the shot but bounced back up like a basketball and took off backwards. Only went about 30-40 yards.
