    1. Ruger M77 in .243
    2. Marlin 336 in 30-30 (open sights 72 yds)
    3. 1979 Savage 110 in 30-06
    4. Springfield 1903 in 30-06 (love it)
This year I will be bow hunting for the first time (Matthews solo cam), and will employ my Taurus Raging Bull in .454 casull (for a change of pace).
I also have enjoyed the 03 Springfield in a sporterized stock, with fiberglass bedding, when I want to be serious,in use 47years

Open-sighted slug barrel on a plain old Winchester 1200 pump, which was also my bird gun before I bought a little 20-gauge last year. And yes, up until a couple years ago, rifle-hunting wasn't allowed in my county. In NY state, rifle hunting has always been allowed in what's called the Northern Zone, i.e. the upper half of the state, including the Adirondack Mountains, but traditionally the Southern Zone, where I am, has been shotgun-only. Now some counties have begun to allow rifles while others (often the one right next door) do not. I thought about buying a rifle when the law was passed, but decided not to since I've never really found myself wishing for longer range. And just guessing from my own small circle of hunting relatives and acquaintances, I'd say that probably only half did switch to a rifle.
