Have you ever seen a movie or TV show in which hunting was fairly and accurately depicted?

I like the elk hunt in the beginning of 'The Revenant' with the three hunters walking toward the bull elk bugles in a foot of water. The bull was shot with a black powder rifle. The grizzly bear attack was the best I ever seen. Looked real to me.
Below are highlight scenes from this action packed movie.

I hate to wreck the movie for you guys if you didn't see it, but this is the bear attack movie scene below. Its very Graphic.

Yeah, I did too. Except for the Indians being portrayed by white actors in very poor makeup.

Anytime Steve, you always welcome to hunt whitetail Bucks and black Bears with me.
If you want to meet up for lunch at the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Spotsmen Show let me know.
The Lunch tab is my treat.
Good luck hunting those spooked whitetails during winter bow season.
I put out a bale of green Alfalfa and the deer never tough it.

Thanks Gary. It is unlikely I will make the Harrisburg show. After a long few months of hunting deer, it's time to give it a break and reconnect with my family. Winter bow has been decent here. I've seen quite a few deer but no shooting. Gave several small deer a pass. I don't hunt bears but would happily help you haul one out of the woods.

I thought both of those scenes were good, for Hollywood.

How about "Big Jake"? Good quote: "There's two reasons to kill; survival, and meat."
