What would you consider to be your minimum number of rifles and shotguns??

      I have some guns that I haven't fired in years. Others that I haven't ever hunted with. I always keep many of my guns because they shoot so good, they handle so well, they're so pretty, bring back memories, or you never know when you'll need it. I need to buy a fourth gun safe and still look to buy more at times. But, one day, I will down size, and I like your list. I'll have my son and son-in -law take whatever they want before I do.

        My minimum would reduce my collection of 50+ long guns. I would reduce to only what is needed from what I own.
        22 LR for plinking and pests, 220 Swift for chucks and long range pests, 308 Win for medium game, 9.3x62 for bigger stuff, 20 gauge sxs for upland hunting, 12 gauge 3 1/2" semi-auto for water fowl. I wish that I didn't have the "gun bug" over the years. I would have saved money and space- safes, ammo, reloading equipment, and insurance premiums.
