Lucky! I would focus on getting out as much as possible while you're in Washington... expect much worse weather conditions in Alaska and begin getting your rain/snow gear and layering system dialed in... Alaska is a great place to hunt, but all trips are adventures... make sure you're prepared for the worst!!!
Have a blast and good luck getting moved up there! If you really want to get to know the country/animals, consider becoming an apprentice guide under one of the many great outfitters up there... it'll take you a few years to become a full fledged guide, but the time and experience will definitely be worth every second!!!
