    The Great Onalaskan,
I have killed 4 thanks to a few things.
First is practice. i make sure i practice shots on moving targets ( rope strung through a pulley and tied to a water jug so when someone behind you pulls the rope the target moves left to right infront of you.) practice from all positions and sitituations that you can think of so when the time comes you are ready. if you bow hunt practice many different angles. If you hunt Flintlock, i like practicing for missfires and also getting quick at reloading.
Next is time spent in the woods. almost nothing is more important than knowing where the deer are going to be. spend a few days in the spot you want to hunt and do everything like you were actually hunting.
Finally and most importantly, dont get discouraged, you will get one soon enough.
