What should i set the poundage on my bow to if i hunt everything from mule deer to bear?

    Alot will depend on the range at which you feel comfortable shooting....the further out, the more poundage you'd want (to ensure adequate penetration)...If you keep your shots to under 35 yards, you should be good with 50-55lbs draw weight and be sure you can hold at full draw for at least 10-15 seconds at a minimum....good luck!

    Set it at a poundage that you are comfortable drawing back. If you are looking for some more speed (deeper penatration) look into getting an overdraw and cutting dow your arrows some.

    I think it needs to be 45lbs+. I shoot mine at 70lbs.
