I tried one once and absolutely hated it. I do not see any reason to change anything if the 3 pin sight is working for you.

I’m with JM and Huntfishtrap. If you're used to what you have and it works for you, then why switch? We all want to look for something better, when better might be right in front of us.

during off season I add extra pins,during bow season i only use one anyway,any shot that i need a second pin for i have to pass on .

I would use a 3 becasue you can set up for 30 40 50 yards

I would stick to the 3 pin as well. One pin is nice because your reticle is not crowded. I have no idea how some people shoot with one inch reticles and 5 pins inside of them. To me, my eye could not distinguish one anymore; it all looked just like a great big rainbow over the target.

I hate to ask this, Jack, but how old are you? I'm 46 and my vision went to hell this past year. Too officerdom's point, the 1-pin sight is easy to see. My problem with it is that I'm a walk-about bowhunter and I want as many range references as possible. I've loved my 7-pin, liked my 5-pin sight, but these days I hunt with a 3-pin. But in low-light situations I'd honestly love a 1-pin and a wide aperture on my peep.

I am 14 its nice to find some one else on her that is my age. I will look out for you online and maybe help you out with some questions. I have a 4 pin True Glow sight and am considering taking off a pin. I would stick with yours. If you go rabbit hunting or something other than deer you may wish you had three pins.
