I own both, Ive killed deer with both the single cam is easier to tune in my opinion. The way bows are now i dont think one is better than another . go an archery shop and shoot both and then make your decision.

I would respectfully disagree with trudeau on one point, twin cams don't necessarily have more or less let off than single cams, that strictly depends on the individual cam design - some single cams have 80% or more, and some twin cams have 65 or 70%, for example.
The only major difference I know of between true twin (not hybrid) cams and single cams, is that the twin cams can go out of time, and so might be more finicky at times.

SINGLE CAMS,HAVE A IDLE ROLLER,DOUBLE CAMS HAVE TO BE ADJUSTED FOR ROLL OVER.Quieter bows are attained by tighter limbs along with dampening stabilzers, cat strings and tru arrow flight.

Like trudeau said, in modern bows there is not much of a difference in the way they shoot. If you are looking to buy a bow just make sure that you shoot as many as possible before choosing...I wouldn't worry about whether it has one or two cams.

Double cams have more let off Single cams have les but i think they are quieter. But If I am right (corect me if I'm rong) thier isn't to much of a difference.
