Is there a significant difference between a single cam bow and a double cam bow in the shooting. I do not understand the differenc if there is one.

I would respectfully disagree with trudeau on one point, twin cams don't necessarily have more or less let off than single cams, that strictly depends on the individual cam design - some single cams have 80% or more, and some twin cams have 65 or 70%, for example.
The only major difference I know of between true twin (not hybrid) cams and single cams, is that the twin cams can go out of time, and so might be more finicky at times.
