There hasn't been a single Martin or Bear compound bow show up in your Bow Test reports for the last 3 years. I am looking for a new bow now and have found the Martin and Bear bows to offer quite a bit for us cost conscious hunters out there. Can you tell me why they have been excluded?

There was both a Martin "Onza 3" (#12) and a Bear "Carnage" (#6) in the 2011 bow test for F&S. I'm sure both are good bows but for the MSRP of them ($599 & $849 respectively) I would be hard pressed not to take a look at the offerings from Hoyt, Mathews, or even Bowtech. I think you might find a higher quality of bow for the money. But as with all purchasing decisions don't limit yourself to one or two companies, shoot as many as you can and choose the one that feels right for you. Good luck!
