    i have been hunting a certain bull elk for about 2 weeks now and no one else hunts where i found this big guy (very secluded area) and i have tryed eveyrthing to get him. i have bugled cow talked went to his bugles still hunted and tryed to spot him but nothing is working. any tips/tricks

    It depends if you have a gun or bow, if you have a gun check which way the wind is blowing. That can make a big difference while shooting. With a bow do the same thing as I said about the wind.

      i have a gun but i have no problem shooting him its the problem of getting him to show himself

        If you know where he comes down to get water. Not advising to do this if there is lots of danger in where your hunting in the dark. But if there is a way you can sneak above him in the dark about a hour befor light set up a ambush point where you have been seeing him move up the hill. Not to close to his trail what he takes up because the other elk with him might see you also just close enuff with cover to take a good shot.Hope you get him & post us some photos!
