We hunt in western Washington. The deer that we hunt recieve very little hunting pressure, but yet during the hunting season the deer, especially the bucks seem impossible to find. Why is this? Also any tips on how to hunt them?

Alot of the bucks become nockturnal and bed down during a good portion of the day(Unless you are walking right at them they wont get up). They go into places you would never expect them to be(places so thick you can hear them jump up 10 yards away but never see them). Im guessing the rifle season is during the rut, so a lot of the time I hunt where I have been seeing does. Try some calling, the first year I ever tried rattleing I had 4 deer come in on me within a minute even though I hadnt seen anything the entire day before rattleing. Look for birds/squirrels in the trees - if there are squirrels and birds in the trees around you it means that they have not been spooked recently, which means there is a good chance the deer going through the area arent either.
