So what do I do when i've killed my wild boar and want to get a shoulder mount? The boar is gutted but that's it. Am I supposed to skin it a certain way or should I let the taxidermist do that? Can I still get the meat after the taxidermist is done skinning it? I live in the U.P. of Michigan and does anyone know any reliable taxidermists that aren't overly expensive??

I dont own any Taxidermied mounts of my trophies, Im more a European skull mount kinda guy(Much cheaper and more satisfing because you can do it yourself)but Im pretty sure the average Taxidermist wont accept a whole animal carcass, your going to have to cape your trophy out first. This is detail work and you should have someone experienced to help you.
