I had applied for a General License in Wyoming for Elk this year(2009) and did not get drawn. Does anyone know if there are any other options for an Elk license other than a guide service?

You should call the parks and wildlife office, they will be able to tell you more about it.

Next year buy the prefrence points. Increases your odds to 75% if you didn't do it this year. Call fish and game and ask them how to get left over tags. They have them I understand by lottery.

I think they raffle off leftover tags as well.
