I'd love to buy a new shotgun but I'm a little short on cash. How do you feel about buying used guns? Where can I find anything worthy?

My last shotgun was used but it only had about a box through it. I still got it for about $2oo less than new, for a $5oo gun that wasn't too bad. I've had it for 10 years now and never had a problem with it.

Used guns are great. Like above, check it over carefully. However, I would recomend that you have a gun smith that you trust look it over, even before you take it out and shoot it.

after you shoot a new gun 1 time it's used ,as long as the gun is in good condition and is a from a reputed maker it should be alright/it wouldn;t hurt to check it out though.I would also run a gun check thru the local police to make sure its not a stolen weapon ,most guns will last a lifetime and thewn some if taken care of properly, its rare to find one that has been shot out as most are used very little .

I once bought a used Remington model 48 in 16 gauge. It is older than I am but it shoots like a house afire. It is currently my favorite rabbit and crow gun, because I don't worry about banging it up like I do with my Red Label 20 ga.

Pawn Shops, Gun Shows, and The www.gunbroker.com Website! I bought a used Remington 597 .22LR for $78.00 on the auction website, and a used Remington Sportsman 11-87 3Inch 12Gauge for a little less than $300.00 on the same site. Not a bad place to save some money if you watch and read the listings very carefully!

I like used guns and have several. You can buy them from individuals of course, but pawn shops and even some retailers have them.
