I don't think Winchester would do that.

So a guy could make a business of putting saddle rings on model '94's. LOL

I bought an unused spare parka at a damaged freight store that was part of a historic multi Country Antarctic trek. Paid a few dollars for it in like new condition. Sold it on e-bay for over $3,000.

Must be nice. I have heard estate sales are another good place to find deals on guns and ammo, though, I personally haven't been to one.
I found for speculation, 36 rounds of Winchester 3 1/2" 'blind side' steel shells. BB's $10.00. What are they worth ?

    My book shows a '94 between 1940 - 1964 in 100% about $900.00. I think you overpaid.

I have never been to an estate sale/auction but have heard people get good buys there. I don't like crowds and there never seems to be a place to park.
