    i am a yearly subscriber to outdoorlife and i have decided to take up hunting problem is i dont know what kind of rifle should be my first, august issu had an rifle test article and i liked the editors choice best value the marlin xs7.what do you think?

    First some wuestions for you. How old are you? how much money do you have to spend on a gun? How much time have you been putting in to just go shooting? There are lot of other questions, such as what will you be hunting? What works for rabbits or birds will not work for elk. There are a lot of diverse people here to help you determine what will work best for you.

      i am 28yrs and have about $500 set away just for this, i dont know where to hunt but i do know a couple paces where i can go practice shooting
