is the CVA Wolf black powder a good gun for a first black powder. its my first black powder and i dont want it to be too cheap

    Its a very reliable gun. I have an Optima Pro with the Cabelas Powderhorn Scope and im punching 1 inch groups at 150 yrds. CVA makes very reliable guns, but before you shoot it make sure you take the breech plug out and put anti-sieze on the threads to make it easier on removal to clean. They claim the powerbelt bullets are the most accurate but Im using Hornady SST HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG 250 grain sabots and I havent had a problem yet. Hope this helps
