    I love the 3o-o6 caliber. So did another out doors man & one of the greatest shooters that walked this rock of ours. This great mans name is Carlos Hathcock also knowen as White Feather. I once seen where he had a confirmed kill at 1,000 yard with 30-06 with a mounted 4x scope. Might not of been the same model as yours but when I hear 3o-o6 his name comes to mind. There is a ton of websites with this American hero on it. This is some history of 3o-o6 because this man took his same 3o-o6 that he used for hunting into battle most the time and came back the victor evreytime!     just want to say thank you Bo for the web site. The gun is almost a tack driver at 100 yrds. I just didnt know the history of the gun .
