    getting brass ready for Ruger Mini-30

      I pulled some Russian SPBT FMJ 123gr that I will use for work up and target shooting. I will get some soft point in the same weight for hunting.
      I also saved the Russian powder that still smells good. I weighed their charge so that might work in target loads. I don't believe the powder is corrosive, just the primers.

                I've got an early model ruger mini-30. The barrel is actually .308 caliber on the earliest model. I haven't reloaded for it in a long time, but I've always used Accurate 1680. It's one of the hottest powders for that round.

                  I got mine 6 mo. ago. so far shooting factory and I don't have 1680. have not decided from what I have.
