For close quarters work on a vermin problem, I used some .22 bird shot. I've never used them in a revolver before, so , I was surprised to discover the brass cracked and busted all the way down to the base. Is this normal or not, as the brass is just crimped shut on the end. While I don't remember when it was bought, I don't believe it is overly old.
